Brand entering a new chapter
Showit website + experience-led strategy
the context
The challenge was that: • Her website listed packages but didn’t sell the experience • Hesitant clients had questions the website didn’t answer • The founder didn't know how to introduce her signature pink boat cruises, after being on a long hiatus
The website needed to capture the feeling of the experiences and communicate that this wasn’t just a cute picnic, but a memorable, luxurious escape.
Joi Picnic & Cruise had already built a strong following with bespoke picnic experiences for families, couples, and friends.
While bookings were happening, the website didn’t reflect the full uniqueness of the experiences. Many potential clients relied on social media to see what made Joi Picnic different, rather than the website itself.
strategic direction
The website had to feel like the experience itself: luxurious, relaxing, and unforgettable.
Our strategy was to: • Position the brand as a premium experience, not just an average cute picnic • Highlight the new pink boat cruises and curated experience • Reduce client hesitation by answering common questions upfront • Make bookings quick and easy with clear calls-to-action
The goal was to make visitors feel what it would be like to attend a Joi Picnic, so that they'd book immediately.
the build
The new website focused on an experience-led design, including:
• Visual storytelling through photography, décor, and reviews • Swipeable packages for quick browsing and comparison • Clear CTAs directing users to the booking link • FAQ sections that addressed common concerns, reducing repetitive DMs • Highlighted her pink boat cruises, while still emphasising the overall experience
The website was now designed to make users imagine themselves in the moment.
Joi Picnic relaunched with a completely new service, her pink boat cruises, and needed a website that could carry both offerings clearly while reflecting the elevated, bespoke experience she'd built.
The new site gave the brand a professional foundation that captures the feeling of her experiences before a customer even arrives, something social media alone couldn't do. Post-launch, the founder has been able to update and manage the site independently as her offerings continue to evolve.
